What’s good:
Here is a solid OnePlus challenger that costs way less than it. Snapdragon 845 under Rs 25,000 is good enough to obliterate the competition. Think of a flagship feature and this phone has it. 2. Vivo V11 Pro
Hate notches but also need no bezels? Maybe the Vivo V11 would ease your pain as it comes with a minimal teardrop notch that’s noticeably smaller than those seen in competitor phones. It also stands out thanks to its in-screen fingerprint scanner. We also like the storage, RAM, and a decent processor for the budget.

Another reliable phone from Motorola’s stables that’s been packed with all the bells and whistles this budget demands. First things that come to mind are a QHD display, 6GB RAM, dual cameras and a shatterproof screen.
What could have been better:
The battery, while not small, isn’t exactly large either. Also, not exactly the latest model.

Panasonic Eluga X1 Pro
What’s good:
Probably Panasonic’s first foray into this segment in recent years. It’s not a bad phone and comes with decent specs like 128GB memory and 6GB RAM. The processor is starting to age for this budget, but nothing that’s downright ridiculous.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2019)
6GB RAM, 128GB
hat’s good:
So, Samsung decided to beat the Chinese players by making a phone with a triple camera on the back. How good is it you ask? The early reviews say there’s enough detail in the pics, but how much of that third camera helps, isn’t exactly known at this moment. We wouldn’t be surprised if its a gimmick more than anything.
What could have been better:
That processor performs worse than a Snapdragon 636. Also, for 24k, 4GB RAM seems like a little less honestly.

Not to confuse you with the camera specs listed above, we’ve listed the specs as (megapixels), (aperture), (OIS-if present), (sensor size). Generally speaking, bigger the aperture and sensor size, better is the camera. Which means smaller number in the denominator, the bigger the aperture or sensor size is. For example, f/1.9 is a bigger aperture and than f/2.0. Also 1/2.2″ is a bigger sensor than, say, 1/2.6″. A bigger aperture camera performs much better in low light situations and produces sharper images. Also, OIS refers to optical image stabilization, which helps in reducing blur.
Standout features in the best smartphones under Rs 25,000:
The best phones under Rs 25,000 these days come with features like dual camera, Android 8.1, and 128 gigs of internal memory. On the other hand, 4GB RAM, 3,000mAh+ battery, full HD display and Android 8.0 have become the norm rather than the exception.
As for the CPU performance, it’s something in the order of Snapdragon 845> Kirin 970> Snapdragon 660> Kirin 710> MediaTek P60=Snapdragon 636 > Exynos 7885. While the Kirin 710 beats the CPU performance of the SD 660, the GPU on the Snapdragon is better.
Look for the latest generation Snapdragon 660/845 processors on board and preferably go for something that’s sure to get updated to Android 9.0. 3GB RAM in this budget doesn’t make sense, neither does Android 7.0.
